Lineage of the House

Skincare guided by the account of antiquity, crafted with precision, and meant to feel as considered on the skin as it is in the mind.

Origin

Ricardo Amaro, Founder

Ricardo Amaro founded Priestess from a Classicist’s interest in ancient practice and the evidence it left behind. The house rests on a clear view: beauty was public language, a sign of status and self possession, repeated daily and observed closely.

Formed in Rome, near the precinct of Vesta, the idea began as a question of evidence and technique, then became a modern practice held to standards felt on the skin.
